Summer Agenda!

Hi everyone!

It's been a while without posting, we've been busy playing in a competition called Emergenza. We got to play in venues like Dingwalls, the purple turtle and last night we played in the final at ULU.

Out of more than 300 bands we got into the finals in the top 12 bands, got always through everyround in first position. Last night we were performing in front of hundreds of people, didn't win but! got into the top 7 and we won the prize to best Drummer! So Matt is really happy with his new sabian cymbals.

We will post soon some pics and videos from the night, and we will keep you updated with some new gigs :)

Hi Everyone,
The Emergenza Competition that we had participated turned out really well..
We had our first round competition last sunday, although the gig is not the same without our bass player Big Lee..:( (Since he had gone to hospital because of personal illness)..
But luckily, we found one of our friend to perform with us, and we had been practicing a lot before our competition..

We had performed our set for half an hour during the night, the crowd surprised us as they are more than what we have expected.. :).. After our set, there are votes where everyone needs to raise up their hand to vote for us..!  The results are in here.. We are now on the top bands in the country.. Hopefully we will be playing again soon in March, and we are really looking forward to it..

Hello there, hope all of you are good, another thing to expose for you today is:

25/november/2007- We are playing at The Bull & Gate in Kentish town, we are in this competition as you know called Emergenza (www.emergenza.net) and we already pretty much sold out our tickets! So if you guys don't have any plans, let me know cause still there's some tickets left :)

Generally speaking, we had an awesome gig with a big crowd more than we expected.. Although we had delayed our performance time, we had a great night catching up with our old friends..

We had also took two NEW videos of our new songs... Memories and All These Things And I Was Wrong

Hey everyone, on the behalf of pipersaint.. I would like to spread the news around for all of you across the world..

We have participated in this year's emergenza festival.. What is emergenza festival all about? It's a festival across in 150 cities across America and Europe. On the first round, the bands will be playing a 30 minute set and proceed through various elimination rounds until they have the opportunity to play in major international venues.

The audience will then select the bands that proceed into the next round by an open vote. At the regional and national finals a professional jury selects the winners and awards the best musicians.

The winners of the national finals play at the international final in Germany. The 'best band of the planet' wins a professional production, a sponsored tour, musical instruments and technical gear. The best musicians are awarded too.

We got a phone called yesterday, was a lady calling from Rome (Italy). She asked for my name "Uxia Saint?" and we got into a really excitating conversation. "I'm calling you from the biggest Worlwide Battle of Bands sponsor by Ernie Ball" she said , just the word made me jump from the chair and ask her "Why are you calling me? I haven't singed as far as I know anything to get into a battle of bands!"

She told me that they found us on internet, someone tried to signed us in (maybe someone from our street team) and they really want us to be in the contest. There's two rounds : 1st at the purple turtle and the 2nd at the Bull and Gate (we already played at this venues) and whoever pass both of them goes to the final at CARLING ISLINGTON ACADEMY..... (oh yes!!!!!).

She said as the contest is world wide, the best band of Uk goes to Germany to the European Final, Having the chance to get a label deal or $100,000 to get a tour with your band. Plus all the bands will be sponsor by Ernie Ball, Gibson, Sabian ....

Whoever gets in the final they're ment to play at the warped tour next year.

As you can see, we are really happy about all this, the woman will email me with further details! Now WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SUPPORT US :)
